Hearing on plan to enlarge the Bayview Hunters Point Redevelopment area tenfold, to cover most of Bayview Hunters Point. All of the City east of 101 and south of Caesar Chavez would be up for grabs for housing for the rich, enforceable by eminent domain if need be. The City lost a quarter of its black population between 1990 and 2000, but that would be dwarfed by this new plan. 3 PM: demonstation on City Hall Steps, 4 PM: Hearing in Room 416.
