We encourage everyone to join our new health committee. As the name change indicates, the work of the Health, Health Care and Environment Committee will be broadened. Issues of health, healthcare, and the environment are changing quickly, and we need to be informed and proactive. With your active participation, this new Committee will be exciting and important.

Committee members would gather, discuss, and distribute information, and suggest actions and activities for the Gray Panthers. Suggested ideas for Committee work include Single Payer, local hospital issues, access to healthcare, and preserving Medicare. Environmental issues could include food and water safety, and learning and educating about how unsustainable environmental practices are affecting our health.
