CMS take responsibility for the Medicare Part D Diaster.
CMS (Center for Medicare Services) is the federal agency responsible
for administering Medicare. CMS is implementing the Medicare Modernization
Act, which ultimately privatizes all Medicare services
and threatens the existance of the entire program. Join CARA and
the Gray Panthers in demanding CMS fix this disaster. 75 Hawthorne

of the Bay Area (HECBA) is calling for a protest action on the
upcoming FEMA eviction of evacuees from hotels and motels; the
on-going housing crisis faced by evacuees in the Bay Area and
elsewhere; the millions of dollars going to relief agencies that
evacuees are not receiving; the bulldozing of the lower 9th ward;
